Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
This policy explains what information Plvio collects when you visit plvio.com or use our free business report, and how we use it. Plvio designs, builds, hosts and maintains websites and booking systems for local service businesses, and is operated by Aerpathe LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
If you are a customer of a business whose website Plvio runs: the details you enter when you book an appointment (your name, phone, email and appointment details) belong to that business, and Plvio processes them on that business's behalf to operate its booking system. That business's own privacy policy describes how it uses your information. This policy also applies to you in one specific respect: Plvio (Aerpathe LLC) is the party that operates the text-messaging program and handles your mobile number and messaging consent on the business's behalf. How we handle that data is described in "Text messages (SMS)" below, and those terms apply wherever you booked.
Information you give us
- The free business report. To prepare your report and on-screen estimate, we ask about your business — its name, type, city, how you currently take bookings, and your social handle — and, when you choose to see the estimate and get the report, your name and phone number. The figures you enter (clients per week, average ticket) are used to calculate the estimate and are sent with your request so we can follow up. We also use the business name and city you enter to look up your public Google listing (see Google Places below); we do not send Google your name or phone number.
- When you contact us. If you email us (for example at sales@plvio.com), we receive whatever you choose to include.
- When you subscribe. Payment is handled by Stripe. You enter your card details directly with Stripe — Plvio never receives or stores your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and the basic account and billing details needed to manage your subscription.
Information collected automatically
- Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical data — your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the site you came from — to serve the site and keep it secure.
- We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits and see which pages and sources bring people to the site. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and is not used to build an advertising profile.
- The Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to reach people who have visited plvio.com. It sets cookies and sends Meta limited information about your visit — such as the pages you view, along with your IP address and browser. This is advertising and cross-site tracking, and it is one of two exceptions to the cookieless approach above (the other is the Google Ads tag below). Meta uses this data under its own privacy policy; you can limit it through your browser's cookie settings and your Meta ad preferences.
- The Google Ads tag (gtag.js). We use the Google Ads tag to measure how our Google ads perform and to reach people who have visited plvio.com. It sets cookies and sends Google limited information about your visit — such as the pages you view, along with your IP address and browser. This is advertising and cross-site tracking, the other exception to the cookieless approach above. Google uses this data under its own privacy policy; you can limit it through your browser's cookie settings and your Google ad settings.
- The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser information as part of that request.
How we use your information
- To prepare and send your business report and estimate.
- To respond to you, contact you about Plvio, and — if you become a customer — set up, run and support your service.
- To provide, maintain, secure and improve the website and service.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. The exceptions to "no third-party advertising" are the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tag described above, which share limited visit data with Meta and Google so we can measure and target our own Facebook, Instagram and Google ads. We do not otherwise share your information for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
When a customer books through a business Plvio powers, they are shown an unchecked opt-in box next to the mobile-number field. Only if they tick it does Plvio (Aerpathe LLC) send appointment texts on the business's behalf — confirmation, reminder, notice of a change, and a short post-visit follow-up. Leaving it unticked still books the appointment; we use email instead. (Separately, a business can switch on a one-per-day reply to a missed call.) If you are that customer: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. The full terms are at plvio.com/sms-terms.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only party it is shared with is our messaging provider (Twilio), solely to deliver the messages you asked for, and where the law requires disclosure.
What we collect for messaging, and how we use it. For the text-messaging program we collect the mobile number you enter when booking, the fact that you ticked the opt-in box (your consent), the appointment the messages relate to, and delivery status. We use it for one purpose only: sending you the appointment messages described above. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and it is not used for marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers that help us run Plvio, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, the database that stores your report submission, and cookieless Web Analytics (aggregate visit counts, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking).
- Google Search Console — a free tool that shows us how the site performs in Google Search (the terms people search and which pages they reach). It reports on Google's own search data and does not add any tracking to this site.
- Google Places — when you run the report, we send the business name and city you entered to Google to look up your public listing (rating, reviews, website). We do not send your name or phone number.
- Resend — sends us a notification email when you submit the report, so we can follow up.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel sends Meta limited data about your visit so we can measure and target our Facebook and Instagram ads, under Meta's own privacy policy.
- Google (Google Ads) — the Google Ads tag sends Google limited data about your visit so we can measure and target our Google ads, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the site's fonts, as described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Plvio, our users or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep report submissions and contact details for as long as we need them to follow up and run the business, and as required for ordinary accounting and tax records. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you — email andrew@aerpathe.com.
- Depending on where you live, your state's privacy law may give you additional rights over your personal information — for example to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of it, or to opt out of certain sharing. We will honour those that apply to you; email the address above and we will respond within the time your law allows.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a certified payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Plvio is a service for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
